What makes humans "tick"?
In reference to the following time frames: 3 million years ago, 200,000
years ago. <-- THIS. (When we "came down from the trees.") Some
might use the words, "Selection Theory." Let's just refer to it as "this."
Now consider a few events or activities IN THE LIGHT OF "this".
Examples: Romance in the light of this. Social interaction in the light of
this. Topol-M in the light of this. Tonkin Gulf in the light of this.
Ronbots in the light of this.
Electrode-implanted lab rats in the light of this. (This is brain science.
The rat pressed a lever to receive a mild "buzz" to the "pleasure center"
of it's brain. Look it up.)
Humans with pets (surrogates) in the light of this. Compassion in the
light of this. War in the light of this. George Jones in the light of this. In
the light of this, what is "moral support" vs. "heartbreak" ?
I'll tell you. This is part of the psy-glue (a "brain thing") that happened
because of prolonged juvenilsm. Briefly, prolonged childhood produced
"Civilization" and is the result of climate change, the long plunge in
global temperature that transformed us into bipeds. Notice also that
dogs, for example, are "social" but they are not "civilized" or communal
to the extent that they worry about immortality, poetry, "civil rights,"
justice, freedom of speech, representation in parliament, patriotism,
central banking, etc. ...i. e., "POLITICS" all of which was evident to Plato
thousands of years ago. Dogs have a rudimentary "ego" and "feelings"
similar to humans. I suppose that chickens do not... Not sure.
Because we are programed to survive as a species, we became the
"Borg." And yes, it is a psychological bondage. And, yes, those who
are kicked out (those who don't fit in) are more likely to SEE this reality
and, if criminal, can exploit it by becoming cult leaders, dictators or drug
lords.

(We are governed by "instinct" just like all the other animals.) Only the
MISFITS can see it. True. But not all misfits are CRIMINAL. (Jesus may
have been a misfit.)
So. What do you do when you find out that the human race doesn't
really matter? What are you going to do for FUN, after you learn that we
humans are merely cosmic gnat poop?
My solution is to selectively COMPLY with the human programing
because we must acknowledge that, like it or not, we ARE human and
there is no other alternative. Your programing is "psy glue", a "brain
thing" and it is BOTH a form of bondage AND a path to fulfillment,
contentment and mental health. In other words, "it works." It has "stood
the test of time"; it is the product of millions of years of "evolution."
But remember, I said "comply SELECTIVELY."
And, I suspect that MANY PEOPLE, when they are fully mature, can see
the truth in what I have just expressed. In other words, when you come
to see that human existence is robotic, it makes you somewhat less
robotic. Your eyes are open.
Then the question becomes, "What now?" The answer is that since you
are human with no other option available, why not "be yourself"?
(Selectively, if possible.)
